We have received a message from the Steering Committee in Likhubula that the new toilets are nearly complete!
"The toilets will be finished by Tuesday 22nd 2014. The school as well as community is appreciating the wonderful toilets which have been built."
The committee are busy planning a handover ceremony with the contractor and the community, which promises to be a great occassion:
"We are meeting this Sunday afternoon to arrange the handover ceremony of the toilets. We have agreed with the contractor to have this ceremony on Thursday 24th July 2014 before school ends.
This will be a big function that we are inviting ministry of education officials, local leaders, political leaders and the community."
We are really pleased that this project has progressed so well, and look forward to hearing about the official handover ceremony.
