Bike2Malawi Mission Accomplished!

A huge congratulations to committee members Ann and Jenni who have completed their target of 1000 miles of cycling between them - the equivalent of Dunblane to Brighton!

They have been contributing to the Bike2Malawi challenge mileage count alongside the Mamie Martin Fund, while raising funds for our Partnership.

Jenni said:

I cycled further than before - from Stirling to Loch Lomond, around Loch Katrine, over Sherriffmuir, Glendevon, the Duke’s Pass. One broken chain and some thunder, rain and flooding- always an adventure! On the days when it got tough, it helped to remember why we were involved in the challenge.

We also receive this encouragement from the Likhubula Committee:

Ann and Jenni cycling powerfully like youths, this is so amazing but encouraging to both communities. Big applause to you and all participants in cycling. It's a success story to see UMODZI of Dunblane committee performing different activities of fundraising despite Covid situation. Entire community is thankful for all your support.

A huge thank you to both Ann and Jenni for all their efforts, and to all who have supported this fundraising effort. There is still time to support and you can do so here. Zikomo kwambiri!
