Teaching Tayamika

We are delighted to announce that we have agreed to support a former Bursar in his further education to become a teacher.

Tayamika Nedi graduated from Chambe Secondary school in 2015 having been a Dunblane Bursar. He has been accepted to Chiladzulo Teacher Training Colllege - a government run college. This is a partially government funded 2 year course with a year at college and a year of teaching practice.

Our priority is supporting secondary education rather than further education as we look to do the most we can with the limited resources we have, and so we cannot commit to supporting all our Bursars into further education. However, when a Bursar and the Likhubula committee have come with a fully costed proposal and a college offer has been made, it is great when we are able to offer support.

Tayamika becomes our third further education Bursar following Christina and Gifte - we wish them all the best for the future and look forward to hearing how they are getting on.

We are very pleased to be able to support Tayamika and congratulate him on his success!
