Almost every country in the world is helping to launch the UN’s new Sustainable Development Goals (or Global Goals as they are known) – the replacement for the previous Millenium Development Goals.
The Scotland Malawi Partnership, of which we are a member organisation, is working with the Scottish Government to launch and raise awareness of this campaign in Scotland. We were delighted to be asked to be a case study of Goal 1: No Poverty.
The campaign involves both sides of our partnership – both in Dunblane and in Likhubula – holding a sign committing ourselves to this Goal. We think it’s a very powerful picture!
