We were pleased to hear that the Likhubula Steering Committee and our Bursar monitor have been running the selection process for the new intake of Dunblane Bursars for Chambe Secondary School.
This comes soon after we hear that all 15 Bursars from last session have passed their exams and moved on to the next year or, in the case of the Form 4 Bursars, completed their secondary education.
The 5 new Bursars who have been selected through the selection process are:
Yamakani Hamson from Kalilombe village who attended Nansato Primary
Mpahtso Buleya from Mangombo village who attended Pasani Primary
Izeck Limited from Gibson village who attended Nansato Primary
Chifuniro Chalichi from Chilanga village who attended Pasani Primary
Banert Chitimbe from Mangombo village who attended Pasani Primary
With 5 Form 4 Bursars graduating at the end of last session, and 5 new Form 1s in this session, our Bursary scheme will remain at 15 Bursars for 1 more year. Next session, we hope to increase this to 20 with 5 Bursars in each year group.
Congratulations to our new Bursars, and best of luck to all our Bursars as they start back at school this weekk
