Bursar Monitor Update

As part of our Bursary scheme, an update report is provided several time a year by the Bursar Monitor- local teacher, Mr Nyambalo. We are really pleased to have just received his most recent update.

As well as comments on the progress of individual Bursars, Mr Nyambalo made some more general comments on our new Standard 1 Bursars:

"I was told that these learners have started well, they are punctual and behaviour is good. I made two visits to Chambe Secondary School. One on 5th December purpose of the visits was to enquire about the well being of the bursars especially the form I. I was indeed fed with good news about them. Much about them will he known in future."

Mr Nyambalo is also meeting with Bursars and their parents to provide advice and support and has passed on useful comments including

"The learners should study their books daily after classes and at night, should seek help from old bursars near them, go over the questions they got wrong with their friends at home, consult their teachers on anything which they do not understand, study the notes seriously with understanding, and consult their teachers on areas that they do not understand."

It was also promising to hear that the library of textbooks which are made available to our Bursars as part of their Bursary is also being well used.

We look forward to hearing more about the progress of our Bursars, and wish them well.
