Regular updates from the builders on the progress of the toilets are very well received! As ever in our partnership, things don't always go quite as you might expect as explained in the following extract from an e-mail:
"The work is going on very well. You may be surprised to see two blocks of toilets facing each other. We redesigned the toilets and Mr Nkata approved after he has done some alterations. You know he is the qualified engineer. They are looking beautiful even though they are not yet completed. You will see that they are four blocks instead of two. You have now three toilets on both side facing each other for girls and another set of the same for boys."
In e-mails received, we were also informed that:
"all the toilets are roofed and we are in the process of starting plastering, pointing and flooring. These will not take us a long time."
New toilets are not far away at Nansato Primary!
