New Bursars put through their paces

We have received an e-mail confirming the selection process for the 5 new Dunblane Bursars starting this year is complete!

A shortlist was drawn up based on specific criteria, and then those on the short list were invited to sit a special exam and interview to be chosen.

The e-mail read:

After the entrance tests results, the committee together with Mr. Nyambalo selected the successful students depending on their performance.

We will send you detailed information of the new bursars later. We will be sending their photos while in school uniform.

On 27th September, 10 students* accompanied by 5 committee members for shopping of stationery (exercise books, pens, mathematical instruments, scientific calculators),2 pairs of school uniform, pairs of school shoes, school bags, shoe polish, belts.

The first term's fees have been issued to Chambe Secondary School and the school is writing receipts for this (to be collected by the Likhubula Committee on a separate trip!).

The new bursars selected are:

Beatrice Muteko from Mbewa Village, Nansato Primary School.

Frida Mvuwa from Kalilombe Village, Samson Primary School.

Steven Sekani from Nakhonyo Village, Nansato Primary School.

Joshua Kamaliza from Mangombo Village, Nkanda Primary School.

Rescue Chapola from Nakhonyo Village, Nansato Primary School.

It is hoped that the new selection process will ensure the bursaries are made to those who will benefite from it most. Congratulation to all our new Bursars, and to the Likhubula Committee for all their effort in making this work.
